RE: ST Proxy 9 and Windows Server 2012 R2

Server 9.0 Windows

I asked IBM via a PMR and they told me that it isn't officially supported, which of course you know. If you fancy trying to support the software yourself if you get into troubles then go for it. Personally, for any production system I would follow the officially supported version otherwise you may find yourself having to rip and replacing the servers.

If you plan to put this into pre-prod first and test it for a while then this mitigate the risk. Is the risk of not having IBM support to fall back on worth it?

You can run Windows 2012 flat, just not R2 for some reason. I hope IBM will get around to validating R2 soon.
